As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers under 700 lbs steady to firm, over 700 lbs 1.00-2.00 lower on a light test. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows 4.00-6.00 higher. Demand good. Supply moderate. Quality and numbers were down from last week. Featured lot was 100 head of 501 lb heifers with attractive condition. Feedlot cattle are widely expected to trade higher this week with the fed kill humming and numbers tightening. Feeder futures are a different story, under pressure Tuesday from the latest round of sharply higher grain prices.
