As filed

Compared to last Tuesday, feeder steers and heifers 5.00-15.00 lower except yearlings over 600 lbs near steady. Slaughter cows 4.00-5.00 lower. Demand moderate. October almost always brings lower prices for calves with additional pressure this year from limited resources over a wide area and higher input costs. The futures trade was a bright spot as live and feeder contracts moved considerably higher Tuesday with the choice cutout advancing and fed cattle expected to trade higher.
