Slim comparisons to the last sale two weeks ago but a load of 820 lb steers sold steady. Slaughter cows sharply lower, mostly 4.00 to 8.00 lower. Extreme heat played a part in the market with some consignors deciding to hold off another couple weeks and keeping some buyers on their heels. Supply light and demand moderate.
