As filed

Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 4.00 to 5.00 lower, while boning type were steady to 1.00 higher and bulls were 8.00 to 9.00 higher. Feeder steers were mostly steady to 4.00 lower on a light test; heifers mostly 6.00 to 8.00 lower; and feeder bulls were unevenly steady. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light as remnants of Hurricane Sally pass through the region. Cattle quality was average. Two dairy steers, Large 3, weighing 50 lbs. brought 45.00 and 60.00 per head; one dairy steer, Medium and Large 3, weighing 50 lbs. brought 110.00 per head.
