Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Slaughter cattle were lightly tested. There were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison; boning type slaughter cows were 8.00 to 9.00 lower; and slaughter bulls were 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers and bulls were mostly 8.00 to 11.00 higher; there were too few heifers the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was average to attractive.
