Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 lower, while slaughter bulls were 2.00 higher; there were too few comparable breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison. There were also too few comparable feeder steers to establish an adequate market comparison; feeder heifers were 1.00 to 7.00 higher on a very light test; and feeder bulls were sharply higher. Demand was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were light. Cattle quality was mostly attractive.
