Compared to last week, slaughter cows were 1.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter bulls were 8.00 to 9.00 lower. Feeder steers and bulls were mostly 3.00 to 9.00 lower, while heifers were mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand was mostly moderate, good for value added cattle; market activity and buyer interest were moderate to active. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was mostly average to attractive. Baby calves ranged 35.00 to 110.00 per head; "by the head" calves were 170.00 to 275.00.
