Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher and boning type were 3.00 to 4.00 higher; there were too few comparable slaughter bulls to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder cattle were mostly steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was average to attractive. Baby calves were 30.00 to 80.00 per head; "by the head" calves were 170.00.
