Compared to last week: Lighter offering this week compared to last week making for limited price comparisons on both steers and heifers. Lighter weight under 500 lbs steers and heifers sold with higher undertones. Nice offering of fresh weaned cattle with all the shots and ready to grow in the feed yard offered today. The market was active today, even with a light crowd do to the beautiful weather and crops ready for harvest. Black cattle in biggest demand creating wide price gaps. CME Feeder Cattle and Corn closed slightly higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold with lower undertones.
