As filed

Compared to last week: In a light test this week, feeder steers and heifers sold with lower undertones. Demand for this nice offering of green cattle was moderate. Biggest demand continues to be black hided cattle, creating wide price gaps. A few loads of yearling heifers sold today. The weather is beautiful for farmers to be in the field harvesting. Cattle on feed was reported at 11.279 million on September 1, slightly higher than last year. The US inventory has been larger than 11 million for the last 58 out of 59 months. CME Feeder Cattle and Corn closed slightly lower. Slaughter cows and bulls steady
