As filed

Compared to last week: Fed steers and heifers in a very light test sold steady to strong. No Holsteins to compare. Demand for this small offering was good. The weather deterred producers from hauling livestock to the barn. Cattle carried a small amount of tag. It has been difficult to keep cattle clean with the moisture and up and down temperatures. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Bulls 2.00 to 5.00 higher.

Traditional slaughter weight lambs in a very light test sold with higher undertones. Demand for this small offering was good. Lambs weighing 70 lbs - 90 lbs were in highest demand. Bidding got very active and exciting between internet buyers and buyers in the seats for these medium weight lambs. Slaughter ewes sold 10.00 to 20.00 lower. Goats sold with lower undertones.
