Compared to two weeks ago, breaking type slaughter cows were 6.00 to 7.00 higher and boning type slaughter cows were 9.00 to 10.00 higher; there were too few comparable slaughter bulls to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder steers and bulls were mixed, 3.00 lower to 4.00 higher; while heifers were mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good; market activity and buyer interest were moderate to active. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average to attractive.
