As filed

Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower, while slaughter bulls were 3.00 to 4.00 higher; there were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder steers were 9.00 to 10.00 higher on a light test; heifers were mixed, 2.00 lower to 6.00 higher; and feeder bulls were steady to 7.00 lower. Demand was moderate, good for value added cattle; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average. "By the head" calves ranged 80.00 to 120.00 per head.
