Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Slaughter cattle were lightly tested. Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 lower, while breaking type slaughter cows were 11.00 to 12.00 higher and slaughter bulls were 14.00 to 15.00 higher. Feeder heifers were mostly steady to 2.00 lower, while there were too few comparable feeder steers and bulls to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were light. Cattle quality was average.
